Naturally I imagine the US models would be a little nicer, but they also cost about twice as much. It was a great guitar, sound and fit and finish. I heard that the US versions are better does anyone know if there's any difference, or have any comments on this guitar? Is there a difference in value cost wise between the two? Hamer has had import lines manufactured in Korea, Indonesia or China since the early '90s. It's not 'fake', because Hamer has always made it as an import-only model. So tell me if I am understanding you correctly You are saying that it is not an American made instrument, and the reason the velocity bass is not fake? Why is it not a Fake? Does some other country have rights to produce them? They are an import-only bass that they started making in the early '00s. Got a pic? The one in the Blitz pic may not be showing up because of the picture quality, or it's a re-fin, but no import Blitzes were ever made.

On guitars with dot fret markers, the double dots at the 12th fret are widely spaced on the imports, much closer together on the USA models. So tell us! The headstock pictured is a USA model a Talladega. I Just recently purchased a couple of prototypes and one standard and they sure look different from the guitars on this site If anybody knows what little details to look for, that would help a bunch!
